Dandelion fritters I
We love dandelion fritters and always look forward to the first harvest in Spring.
It's a very simple recipe and great as a snack or side dish. Ingredients: Dandelion flowers olive oil 1 egg 1 cup milk 1 cup flour salt to taste your favorite herbs to taste (optional) Directions: Mix the egg, milk, flour and salt to make a batter. Inspect the flowers to make sure to get rid of extra 'protein' with wings and little legs In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat Dip flowers in batter and fry. |
