Lavender lemonade
Ingredients:
4 cups water 1 cup sugar 12 stems of fresh lavender or 2 tbs dried lavender 2 cups of lemon juice Directions: Boil 2 cups water with sugar Add the lavender, remove from heat and let cool with the lid placed on the pan. When cool, add 2 cups of cold water and lemon juice. Strain the lavender And serve. Makes 8 servings You can make a big batch and store these in plastic water jugs in the freezer. Just make sure to not use the lid of the jug but use a small lunch bag, or saran wrap applied with a rubber band to allow air to move, to prevent the jar from breaking in your freezer and cause a mess. I don't really see how that would happen but I've heard that that could happen. |
